Cottage Health System
Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
This is a short note of appreciation for all of the support CIO Solutions has
provided over the past years.
One of the very best aspects of working with CIO is the flexibility of
staffing CIO can provide to meet our ever changing daily requirements. CIO
continues to provide Cottage Health System with certified network engineers who
work each day on any or all of our three campuses, ensuring the correct and
efficient operations of our network servers and WAN. Cottage has the
ability to staff our computer support activities according to need, using
competent CIO contractors with specific training and experience to satisfy our
requirements. Depending on the day's requirements, we may have need for
only one CIO contractor; on other days we may have up to three certified
engineers. We have complete confidence in all of the contractor personnel
sent to us because of the intensive pre-screening processes at CIO which insures
that that only qualified engineers and specialists are hired.
CIO provides maintenance for all of our PC related hardware such as PCs,
monitors, printers and scanners. Guaranteeing on-day turn-around for all
PC problems; skilled CIO technicians diagnose PC problems, and repair or replace
any defective parts, re-image hard drives or install new components with such
efficiency that Cottage Health System users are able to return to work with a
minimum of down time.
CIO network specialists and certified engineers are working closely with
Cottage Information System's staff and Advanced Cable Systems personnel to
install a wireless network throughout the three hospital system; which will
enable increased mobility and flexibility for doctors and nursing staff through
the use of laptops, handheld PDAs and other wireless devices. Working
under a very tight schedule and with a limited budget, CIO staff members have
installed, configured and tested the routers, transmitters, receivers,
repeaters, and switches required to make the wireless network functional.
During the next weeks, the entire 120 wireless PC network will go on-line, and
no difficulties are expected; but if problems are encountered, we know CIO will
be there to resolve them.
So, what began as a short note seems to have evolved into a list of all of
the various ways your company continues to support us on a daily basis; but the
original intent is still to say: "Thanks for all of your help!"
Sincerely,
Alberto Kywi
Chief Information Officer
