Santa Barbara, CA – June 9, 2010 – CIO Solutions, an Information Technology (IT) firm in Santa Barbara, is sponsoring the first Green Building Art Show hosted by the US California Green Building Council Coast Chapter (C4). The Green Building Art Show will be held at the Built Green Resource Center located at 914 Santa Barbara Street, Suite A in downtown Santa Barbara. This center offers information, advice, programs and classes on green building processes and materials.

The show will have three elements that illustrate different aspects of green building design.
Architectural renderings demonstrating the concepts involved in sustainable design will be on display. Contributors will include Arcadia Studio Landscape Architects, Penfield and Smith Civil Engineers, and Paul Poirier + Associates Architects.

Winners of this year’s USGBC Natural Talent Design Competition will be on display. The USGBC teamed up with The Salvation Army to have students design an affordable and green home for New Orleans residents. Teams from CalPoly have submitted entries to this competition.
